joining me now is rob kron, head of investment and retirement education at black rock, thank you for joining us. first of all, people do feel poorly informed about their benefits, why is that? >> we're all uninformed about it. because we bought it in complete and total ignorance. if you think back to your first job, right, they weren't handing out buyer's guides or user's manuals. all we got was that deduction on our paycheck. i remember asking, who's this fica guy, why's he taking all my money? >> how do couples plan? what is the difference between the individual and the spousal benefits? >> so there are fundamentally two types of benefits. the benefits you collect based upon your work history, or individual benefits, and then there are benefits you can collect based upon someone else's worker who. and so for individual benefits, those have quite a bit of flexibility. because you can take them early at a reduction. you can also wait for them and they'll get bigger. these other spousal and survivor benefits, they will go down if you take them early, but they don't get big fer you wai

big names that had moves up earlier, a little bit weaker today, advance microapplied materials and my kron, lam research to the downside the rally is continuing here and obviously this is largely on the tax cuts, corporate cuts, repatriation of capital equipment. and i would also add that i think abc issuing a correction on the report on mike flynn is also a factor. that was a factor in the drop on friday and i think it's a factor in the rise today. more generically, global economic growth and numbers are pretty good overall. also seeing record earnings and fed staying accommodative we'll hear more about that from the fed next week. president weighed in on the rally we've been having today saying with the great vote on cutting taxes this could be a big day for the stock market, and this was earlier this morning. one problem here is the president very casually mentioned on saturday that he might, might be willing to support a tax cut of corporate tax cut of 22% instead of 0% this is a bit of a problem because i had drawn a line in the sand on that, vept mike pence had also drawn lines and v
